Story Background
The legend of Mystery Valley is an eternal nightmare hanging over the village. The cursed, forbidden land lures its prey with dreams and feasts upon the human heart. All who set foot within it plunge into a boundless illusion, their consciousness slowly devoured, until they become nutrients for the Mystery Valley. Only one in ten thousand — those who cling steadfastly to their true selves — may awaken within the dream, master its magic, and awaken every slumbering soul.
Young Yuto grew up amidst the quiet monotony of ordinary days. However, deep within her chest burned a flame that refused to be extinguished. She yearned to venture into Mystery Valley, to bend magic to her will, and to awaken all those imprisoned by the demons of their own hearts.
At last, without a backward glance, she strode into the forbidden land. However, waiting for her was not the danger she expected, but a gentle, seductive illusion so lovely that one could gladly drown in its embrace.
A dreamlike swan rocking chair, the warm embrace of a giant bear, silent reapers marching in solemn procession, golden sunflowers blanketing the hills as far as the eye could see, and guides who commanded the four suits — Air, Fire, Water, and Earth...... For one fleeting moment, Yuto felt the urge to simply stop, to lay down her journey and sink into an endless slumber.
Yet somewhere deep within, a voice called out again and again, straining to rouse her and guide her toward the place she was truly meant to reach...
