Clouds typically have two directions. One side is dark clouds, the other is white clouds. The King's face usually faces the white clouds, so the direction of white clouds is a good omen for escaping bad luck. Dark clouds are a bad omen and are inevitable. The further the Cloud card is from the Significator, the better. However, dark clouds usually don't stay long; they dissipate quickly, unless the next card indicates more obstacles.
